Just Your Average Geek Diva, Gadget Girl

In my day job, I work full-time as a Social Media Specialist for Campaign Consultation, Inc. recognized as “One of the top 500/5000 companies in America” by Inc. Magazine. In my role as a social media specialist and a Training and Technical Provider for the Corporation for National Community Service, I develop and drive the social media strategies for the AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) promoting our mission to combat poverty across the United States.

I've had a long career as a Producer, Broadcaster and Television Executive. With that experience I launched Danielle Ricks Productions, a small boutique company made up of freelance teams that provide exceptional production and social media support. I live to innovate, inspire, entertain and educate through the arts, communications and new media.

I blog about, social media trends, women's issues, health and wellness, gadgets, technology and green ways to get around town. I am passionate about food, music, people, animal, entertainment, cycling and above all else, emerging new technology. I like to say "I live, work and play on-line"... so won't you join me?
